You still stand a chance

Long story short
It wasn’t what I thought
The life that I imagined for me
Had gone for a toss

The people I trusted
All the time broke my heart
So finally I stopped loving
Thinking it would heal the feelings I lost

It didn’t work out
Life was still spiraling down
No other solution was in sight
So thought of keeping life a little tight
By giving it one last ride

But the feelings were lost
No love was gained
Nobody worthy enough
To keep in my hearts stand

Still I am travelling
With my heart in my arms
Maybe I will find her someday
Holding my missing piece
Keeping it closer, Keeping it calm

So all you heartbroken people
All you hopeless romantics out there
We still stand a chance
We have a long way to go
We have so much left to say
Don’t break the tip of your pen yet
The race is far from over
You still stand a chance

Tiny Pieces of My Soul

From the bits and tiny little parts of my soul
I was staring down at you
And you were staring back at me
The place was crowded
Though our attention undivided
Something connected and it just wasn’t the wifi

You tried to hide it
You tried to avoid it
But it came catching back to you
You had to surrender
The force was just too powerful to control

You fell deeper, deeper than the deepest hole
You wanted to see me
You wanted to meet me
All the time, all that very moment
Because you couldn’t hold it
Wanted to rest on my broad shoulders
Wanted to hold my hands and become a lot bolder

The wind was light
The whole picture was turning out to be perfectly bright
The roses were there
The scene was set
I was going to propose you
Towards the sunset

But then it hit me
A lot of things weren’t over
A hell lot of bad karma was stopping me
By creating a thick border
The glass was completely empty
There wasn’t a single drop
The cloud had burst already
The dream was dead
I had to go back to the same morbid hell

Because the picture ain’t always perfect
There are always but’s and why’s
There is always an anti-hero
We all slip down that slippery slope
But we won’t fail
Because we haven’t lost hope
We have to give the tests
We have to go for a sail
To prove the strength of our character
To prove the love that we have

How do life hits you

Does it hit you hard
Does it hit you low
Does it not hit you at all
Or you don’t seem to follow

Whichever point you start your journey from
There always comes a Crossway to chose from
So if you try to think more about your decision
Then the harder you will repent of it sooner or later

So just go with the flow
Live life like you should bro
Don’t judge others
Don’t try to find their faults
Look on the brighter side
Put manure on your greener side
Create large fountains of hope
Keep on pinging the girl’s wall

Just one day will change it all
Hope will take you to the finish line
While all others will befall
So if you still can’t increase your pace
Just walk faster thinking it’s a life and death race
Because if you came last
There will be no one who would want to know your past
No one would want to hear your story
No one will be in line to see your heart of glory
